                      Upland Bird Hunting

                 Experience upland bird hunting at its finest.

Our upland bird season is seven months long. We hunt pheasants September thru February and chukars September thru March. Hunters have over 1000 acres, of natural habitat and cultivated fields to pursue upland birds. Hunt over your own great bird dog or hire one of our field guides to handle an experienced dog. Hunt all morning or all afternoon. Hunting parties are one to four hunters per field. Hunt six or more birds during the week or eight or more birds on the weekend. Thanks to great hunters and great dogs we have many successful, memorable and safe days afield.

Guidelines

All hunters must show they have or have had a hunting license or a hunting safety course certificate.

Everyone must sign in and sign out.

Blaze orange hats and vests required.

No alcoholic beverages before or during the hunt.

No hunting in the safety zones.

No four legged or two legged visitors at the barns.

Please pick up your empty shells.

Please respect other hunter’s reservations.

Only Pheasant Hollow Guests should be on the preserve.

All birds bagged must be  reported and tags must be obtained before transporting your birds home.

Extra birds may be shot. Pheasants are $20 and chukars are $14

Guests are always welcome at Pheasant Hollow.  All rules apply.

Young hunters are also welcome.   All rules apply.

Everyone must follow all guidelines.  Failure to follow all guidelines may result in revocation of all privileges.

Please feel welcome at our hunter’s cabin.  Help yourself to our goodies or bring your own.
